WORK CHAIRS FROM BIMOS
WORK CHAIRS IN PRODUCTION
Work chairs used in production have to meet special requirements, which may vary depending on the working environment. A work chair from Bimos allows comfortable sitting and getting up quickly and restricts the freedom of movement as little as possible. Work chairs in production must be particularly resilient, as they may be exposed to flying sparks or could come into contact with oil, grinding dust or chips, for example. In such cases, the upholstery of the work chair can be replaced with a flick of the wrist when necessary.
However, it is also highly resistant and washable, so that the replacement is rarely necessary. A Bimos work chair can be optimally adapted to the respective body: The backrest and seat are anatomically designed to provide the highest level of comfort at work. The height-adjustable stools allow comfortable leg and foot positions at any time. Of course, all necessary standards were met during the development of the seats. In addition, however, we also cooperate with occupational physicians and specialists who guarantee an even higher quality: every Bimos work chair offers the needed robustness, but also rolls out of the way without falling over if the seated person suddenly jumps up because rapid intervention is required in the production process.
WORK CHAIRS FOR THE ESD SECTOR
In the ESD sector, it is particularly important that work chairs not only offer the greatest possible comfort for employees, but also dissipate possible electrostatic charges. Even the slightest discharge, which is far from being felt by humans, can cause devastating damage to microelectronic components. To prevent this from happening, every Bimos work chair is a reliable overall system for the ESD sector: the surface of the comfortable upholstery is conductive, as are the castors, glides and plastics. All steel parts have a conductive coating, so that the discharge takes place without any gaps across all components. These work chairs are also of much higher quality than required by relevant standards.
Despite all safety, however, the comfort for the sitting person is not missing out either: each work chair is designed according to ergonomic aspects and allows the seated person to easily make individual adjustments. Depending on the position, these can be changed quickly and steplessly. The stools permit extra freedom of movement and rapid rotation. They are adjustable in height and thus allow different working positions and a constant relief of the legs and the spine. If you prefer to use a work chair in standing positions, you can choose one of the height-adjustable models.
WORK CHAIRS FOR LABORATORIES
Work chairs for laboratories must be particularly easy to clean and have to offer the working person the highest possible comfort: This is particularly important when employees often have to work bent slightly forward in the laboratory, as otherwise back pain can easily occur. Accordingly, each individual Bimos work chair not only offers particularly flexible and versatile adjustability, but is also ergonomically designed to protect the back. The height-adjustable work stools allow for a variety of leg and foot positions and thus stimulate blood circulation. In addition, they offer freedom of movement for the seated person and at the same time take up little space themselves.
But user comfort is not everything that good work chairs for laboratories have to offer. During design and processing, particular importance was attached to a jointless design, as dust and microorganisms gather even in the narrowest gaps. The materials used for all Bimos work chairs for laboratories are easy to clean and principally antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal. If necessary, the upholstery can be removed and replaced in the blink of an eye. Depending on the laboratory in which the work chair is to be used, these special features may not be sufficient. For these cases, the special seats are also available in ESD-compliant versions to prevent electrostatic charging.
WORK CHAIRS FOR CLEANROOMS
There are many different industrial sectors that require work in cleanrooms, such as medicine, optics, the pharmaceutical industry or microelectronics. Any contamination may lead to spoilage of the product, therefore all equipment, including work chairs, must comply with strict standards. Each work chair from Bimos is designed in close cooperation with research and corresponding industries and therefore offers a particularly high level of safety and the highest possible comfort.
Work chairs for cleanrooms all have sealed upholstery with back foam technology including a closed backrest and seat cover that surrounds all moving parts. In addition, every work chair is electrostatically dissipative. The smooth, closed surfaces of the chairs are particularly easy to clean. However, comfort is not missing out: each work chair can be individually adjusted so that every employee using it is perfectly supported. This will prevent back pain and tension. The specially designed stools for cleanrooms by Bimos are also comfortable and individually adjustable. They allow working at different heights and provide relief for the spine, knees and ankles. Additionally, the employees are particularly agile and flexible. Of course, the stools also comply with the standards that have been set up for cleanroom chairs.
STANDING WORK AND STANDING AIDS
Excessive standing is just as harmful to the body as excessive sitting - a person has to be able to change his or her posture in order not to suffer any damage. Standing aids are special types of work chairs: They are flexible and compact and can be easily moved from one point to another, so they are perfectly suited if an employee has to change his or her working position several times a day. The narrow, high work chair does not take up much space and is designed rather discreetly. There are standing aids with many different feet, in order to allow a firm footing despite their compact design. The work chairs are also available with castors.
All Bimos work chairs designed for standing work allow the user the greatest possible freedom of movement without any restrictions. From leaning slightly through to relieving the legs, feet and back, the standing aids allow the employee to change position at any time. This significantly reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases and damage to muscles, tendons and the skeleton - the diseases that are particularly aggravated by standing work. Depending on where the work chair is used, it is also available as a model that complies with ESD standards. In this way, the strenuous standing work can be made considerably more pleasant in all conceivable areas.
